Hello, my name is Terry Birch. I am seeking information on Thomas Joseph Harvey born in circa 1880 in Jolie, IL. If any of you have Illinois connections that might tie in I'd sure appreciate the help. I know very little about this man other than he was born in Illinois and somehow ended up in Colorado Springs, CO. abt 1909 where he married my grandmother, Sarah Reese Kintz on June 7, 1909, had a son Thomas William Harvey (my father) July 24, 1909 then divorced Sarah May 31, 1910. Kind of sounds lika a shotgun marriage huh?. If you are wondering why my name is Birch when my father was born a Harvey Sarah was married to a Samuel C. Birch in Colorado Springs July 21, 1911 and my father took the name of Birch as his own. I have the marriage and divorce records from the Colorado Archives if they would be helpful to anyone.
