Janis, Have you looked in the Land Records for IL. for your John HARVEY? I went and took a look for you. Many, Many HARVEY's. There was a John Harvey who purchased land in IL from 1818 Military Tract Land to 1872 R.R. Land. Plus there are many other Harvey's listed, as well as a Zacariah HARVEY.
