Kinchen Smith Harvey was b. ca 1796 NC, married 6 April 1819 Greene Co. TN to Nancy McClain. With the name Kinchen Smith Harvey I figure it must be two maiden names but have yet to find a clue to Kinchen Smith Harveys parents. In Greene Co. TN in 1799 James Harvey wit. a deed. On the tax rolls in 1809 & 1810 there was a William Harvey, 1814-16 George Harvey, 1816 Thomas Harvey and 1816 James. The tax rolls skip to 1828. If anyone is working any of these Greene Co.
