I would like to see us use first names to each other. I know this is a large list, but I think its alright to be friends (Harvey Friends). I have been mulling this over in my mind, and here is my plan for this list. We will become TEAM RESEARCHERS. All that means is that we will work more closely together. I don't want to bombard anyone with a million questions but, if any of you have particular records, and would be willing to go through those records or books to find documentation for other Team REsearchers, that would be a boon for us. You can send me a private email. and let me know what you have. Then we will only give out that info if there is someone who is looking in that area I see us printing family groupings, the same ones over and over, but looking for one particular person each time. Here is how we did it on another list I own. I had a young man researching his gg. and ggg grandparents. I recognized the complete name and contacted another researcher on the list, who tied into that same family. She contacted him and is working with him, sharing info, and he also. Then from time to time she lets the list know what has transpired. Its very interesting, and also they both win. He threw a bunch of names at me at first, and I said send me a email with a four generation chart. He did and I knew exactly where he belonged. But of course he needed documentation, and more personal information that he was interested in. Its been very successful for us. Since I've taken over this list, I've been very pleased, in that most of you do work this way. The Harvey family was well known, and there is a multitude of info on the web on the family. perhaps we can put together sites we have visited and info available for us to research. Last night I was researching another name in Chester Co. Pa. web page. They are now listing cemeteries, in certain area, and people online are posting their families in those cemeteries. Also some of the townships that were formed from 1600's to late 1700's are listing the Taxables for that time period. I found in: Birmingham Twp. Chester Co. Pa. John HARVEY listed as a Taxable in 1715 Birmingham Twp. was formed in 1686. John was listed as a Freeman They made that distinction.
