Well this has been the most productive weekend in genealogy history I have had. First I became Listowner, and that means alot to me, as my lineage looks like this Though the female line: LAWRENCE, Virlinda m. James RHEA HARVEY, Betsy m. John LAWRENCE BALLARD, Lucy m. Joseph HARVEY I have considerable Rhea info., as I started the I have some LAWRENCE info. and have copies of old precivil war letters written by Betsy HARVEY to her children, and they to their brothers and sisters. So many of the HARVEY names I had, like Wilson, Austin, Thomas, etc. with death dates. I have tried over the last few years to find anyone who was related to this family of HARVEY's. Last night I was at Ancestry Library on line. decided to try again. typed in Betsy HARVEY, and while I was waiting for info to come up, I thought to myself, if only John Lawrence's name would come up. Wow! did I about fall off my chair. Someone had put in a GEDCOM with Betsy's lineage. and there was Wilson , Austin, Thomas and Joseph HARVEY. and John Lawrence. Of course I downloaded the GEDCOM, then preceded to search out old HARVEY messages, and then went to BALLARD, what a find. Would love to communicate with anyone who is related to this line.
