I went to the HARVEY archives last week and found a message written by Sandra Nolan- about a family bible of James and Nancy SNidow Harvey of Monroe Co. WV. I'm new to this list, so going back and reading all those old messages, has really been a blessing for me. Someone asked me recently about their being two Nicholas. In this message it says there were two. James HARVEY, born 10 Oct. 1792, Red Sulpher Springs, Monroe Co., (West) Virginia, son of Nicholas and Sarah Ann (James) Harvey, and Nancy SNIDOW , born 9 Jan. 1796, dau of Col. Christian and Mary (Burke) SNIDOW It lists as their first child: Nicholas Harvey, b. Jan. 15, 1815, Red Sulpher Springs, Monroe Co. (West) Virginia, married Harriett Williams, 22 Feb. 1834, Monroe Co. Hope this helps someone.
