One of my ancestors is Martin HARVEY b. 1792. I believe he may be a brother of Betsy HARVEY who married John Lawrence. I haven't found his parents or his siblings yet, but I did download that GEDCOM file you mentioned, and Martin is also in that file. The chances are high that he is the same as my Martin, but I haven't made a definite connection yet. Martin had six children I know of, and the names Thomas, Austin, James, Abner, and John are carried down through his line. All of the information I have found on Martin Harvey says he was born in North Carolina. These sources include several census records and a mortality schedule. Martin died in 1869 in Benton Co., Missouri. If anyone has any additional information, I would love to share what I have also. Allison A.
