I really need some help. The first Harvey we have is Lemuel Harvey b. Aug. 6, 1798 in Oglethorpe, GA. m. Ann Ballard Jan. 1, 1830 Kingston, GA d. June 14, 1886. We know our Harveys are from Scotland. Lemuel and Ann had the following children: Newton Jasper b. Nov. 9, 1832 m. Sophronia Jane Harvey May 20, 1856 d. March 27,1900 Sophronia b. Jan. 14, 1834 d. April 28, 1839 Rufus S. b. Feb. 16, 1836 d. Feb. 20, 1836 Christopher C. b. May 20, 1837 d. Nov. 22, 1862 Francis Asbury b. Sept. 9, 1839 m. Sarah Abigal Fisher Jan. 7, 1869 d. Oct. 15, 1916 James Monroe b. Dec. 12, 1841 Sept 19,1902 John Wesley b. May 1, 1844 d. Oct. 6, 1864 Samuel Ballard b. Jan. 13, 1846 d. Oct. 8, 1851 Washington Taylor b. Dec. 25, 1848 d. Oct. 12, 1851 Sarah Frances b. Sept. 9, 1850 d. Sept. 1, 1847 Lemuel Davis b. Dec. 14, 1852 d. Aug. 4, 1876 I don't know where any of the children were born. I thought everything was just fine with this line until a Ballard researcher came along who has an Ann Ballard born on the same day, month and year who married a James N. Harvey and they have an entirely different set of children. The kicker is, we both have the same parents, brothers and sisters for Ann. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
