Here is what you all have been waiting for. The Archives are up! You have the capability of searching the archived messages from mailing lists. Not just ours but all the lists that rootsweb hosts. To access the search engine go to: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl Enter the name of the mailing list to search. On the next screen you enter the words to search on (eg. surname, place name, etc) It works great. Keep in mind, you can also search lists that you are not subscribed to, which Rootsweb hosts.
