My Harvey Family was located in Monroe Co. KY. I have copies of letters written by Betsy (Harvey) LAWRENCE from that location in 1848. She lists the names of her brothers, James Harvey, Austin Harvey, Thomas Harvey, with events that had happened. She lists the death of her husband John LAWRENCE in April 28, 1847. She also tells about Francis and Harvey Harlands children. And she said that if anyone wanted to write to her the letter should be sent to Paces Post Office, Barren Co. Ky. This letter was to James and Verlinda Rhea. My g.g.g.grandparents. Then I have one 1850 that states that Thomas Harvey is dead d. Feb. 6, 1850. That Joseph R. Harvey, son of Wilson Harvey, died the 28th of April 1850 with breast complaint. That Harvey Lawrence was not well. Other names mentioned in this letters was Elizabeth m. Philip Amet, and had one child Winfred Scott. That Betsy's mother was living with her brother James, and that she is living with John ? Also lists that Thomas Rhea m. a girl by name of Susan Margaret parke daughter of James Parkes. This letter from Tompkinsville, Ky. May 28, 1850. Does anyone know of this Harvey family?
