From the REGISTER-GUARD, Eugene, Oregon June 21, 1997, Obituaries: DENNIS HARVEY SPRINGFIELD- A memorial service will be held today, June 21, for Dennis John Harvey of Springfield, who died June 18 of heart failure. He was 53. Harvey was born Jan. 13, 1944, in Eugene to John and Velda Ingram Harvey. He married Donna Vandahey in Eugene in April 1952; they later divorced. He married Jan Hylton in Eugene in 1977; they divorced in 1993. He worked as a truck driver for the city of Eugene. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun shows and motorcycle racing. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Curtis of Springfield and Susan Petrie of Rochester, Wash.; a son Thomas of Eugene; a sister, Barbara "Bobbie" Buchholz of Elmira; and three grandchildren. Today's service will be at 10 a.m. at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Eugene.
