Hello, I am looking for some help from someone researching Harvey"s in Missouri. I am trying to locate the where about's of Joel Griffith Harvey. Joel's parents Oliver H. Harvey and Elizabeth Hartley along with their other sons Otis M., William H., and Albert H. came west in March of 1867 to Urich, Henry Co. Missouri. They located on a farm five miles from Urich where they resided until Oliver's death on Dec. 23, 1894. Elizabeth remained on the farm until her passing on Oct. 25, 1903. Joel Griffith Harvey was born on the family farm in 1872. I have a copy of a newspaper write up from Dec. 27, 1894 where is has him attending school at Chillicothe, Missouri, he planed on staying there until March of 1895. On Nov. 5, 1093 Joel was working for the Farmer's Mutual Fire Insurance Co. of Henry Co. Missouri. Another writhe up I have from Dec. 3, 1903 Joel and his wife were living in Brushy, Mo.. >From Albert H. Harvey's obit, dated August 30, 1946, it said he was preceded by a brother Joel G. Harvey, who in former years had lived in Urich, Mo. Thank you, Doreen
