Dear Fellow Harvey Researchers, I have been adding to and updating "The Harvey Genealogist" website over the past month. I wanted to bring a couple of the regular features of the site to the attention of new list members - and perhaps some of the 'old timers"! I will also be sending this post on both The Harvey Genealogist mailing list and The Rootsweb Harvey Discussion List (which is a totally different list), so if you received it already, feel free to delete the duplicate message! First, the URL of "The Harvey Genealogist" is http://HarveyGenealogy.com or http://www.geocities.com/~thg/ ; sometimes the domain server isn't working very well. You will find that THG is divided into several regional 'research centers' and a few general 'departments'. One of the departments is the Library. If you haven't had an opportunity to visit the Harvey Library, I hope you will take a moment to do so. We have compiled a comprehensive list of Harvey Genealogical works, and in many cases have provided purchase information. The URL for the Harvey Library is http://www.geocities.com/~thg/library/library.htm . Another feature is the biography section - a sort of Harvey Who's Who. The URL is http://www.geocities.com/~thg/bios/who_who.htm . This section is growing slowly but surely! And, one more feature that I wanted to mention is the Articles archive, which contains links to articles written in the first 4 volumes of THG - 1996 through 1999. If you are just now discovering THG, you'll not want to miss these.
