Hello. I am still looking for a new clue on John W. HARVEY who was born in Indiana about 1826. I don't know who his parents were. He married Caroline SULLIVAN in Jefferson County, IL. in 1860. I found them living in Owensville, Montgomery Twp., Gibson County, Indiana in 1860. He had a son named William , age 12 in 1860. William was living with John and Caroline HARVEY. By 1865, Caroline HARVEY was back in Jefferson County, IL with her parents...John was gone. I have tried to find out if he was in the Civil War and possibly died. There were about 13 John Harvey's in the Civil War from IN. There were 3 from IL. So far, I haven't found the correct one. Anybody have a suggestion for me ?? Thanks for your time. Janis Foley
