Hi listers, I have just received some long awaited news about my Henry Harvey. He married Rebecca Wait in 1835 in the parish of St Paul, and they were both born in Bristol, England. The 1851 census which gives their family in 17 Princes Street, Bristol, also lists a "grandmother in law" by the name of Elizabeth Stafford, aged 62, born also in Bristol. My first question is: does "grandmother in law" mean Rebecca nee Wait's mother or grandmother, if she is in the household of Henry Harvey? Would this mean that Staffor is Rebecca's mother's maiden name? Help please. My second question is: has anyone else come across this family or this name? The third question is: their children were all baptised on the same day, which was January 3, and it is either 1851 or 1857 - has anyone the ability to check this for me please? The baptisms were found in the baptismal records for St Stephens, fiche ref FCP/St.S/R/2(b)4 My heartfelt thanks in advance.
