Spelling of names, along with alternate spellings, are as they appear on the Muster Rolls. Succeeding entries are: rank at enlistment, company assigned, age at enlistment, date enlisted and where enlisted. All enlistments were for three years, unless otherwise noted. The regiment was mustered into Federal Service on 9 Dec 61 at Calhoun, Kentucky. Hospitalizations, wounds, transfers, promotions and other information are also included. The regiment was mustered out of Federal Service 14-17 Dec 64 at Bowling Green, Kentucky. Unfortunately, the regimental papers were lost to Confederate forces on 23 Nov 64 due to the abandonment of Pulaski, Tennessee by Federal forces. Major General Schofield ordered the evacuation of Pulaski to return to Nashville and only essential materials were taken along.
