It is my understanding that SSDI is not where someone was born, but where they applied for the Social Security Card. My grandmother was born and lived most of her life in Arkansas. I found her in Missouri because that is where she applied. She and my grandfather had gone to St Louis to work far a short time. Ellen Harvey Parker "Catherine M.
