Billy Harvey, born June 19, 1925 in Montgomery County TN; he died March 17, 1999 in Quincy IL. Billy served in the US Navy during WW II; and was injured and dishcharged from the service about 1944-45. In 1945 he married Betty Barnes in Omaha NE. Billy and Betty then moved to the Frankfort IL area where Billy's mother and stepfather were living. Billy's mother was Alma Harvey. On Billy's application for Social Security it states that Billy used his mother's maiden name as his surname. Alma Harvey married Alvin Mayfield sometime after 1925. She and Alvin had several children, among them were Hazel, Hattie, Shirley and a son known only as "Junior". Billy married a second time after 1946 and had at least 4 children from the second marriage: Debbie, Joan, Mike and Doug.
