Howdy, I am new to the list - expect to hear quite a bit from me since this is my birth name. Has everyone located the Harvey Genealogist homepage? http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6575/ Gail Harvey Budda, Ben Lomond, CA [email protected]
Forwarding this Harvey request to the list. Can anyone help this researcher? Please e-mail her directly since I don't believe she belongs to the list - yet. Gail Harvey Budda, Ben Lomond, CA [email protected]
Hi, I am interested in your family line of Harvey and Burnett as the two surnames appear several times on my grandfather's maternal side of the family. His mother Hester Jane Harvey was born in 1864; Hester's parents were John Harvey and Elizabeth Burnett. Please let me know if there is some connection. The first names are not 100% proven, just passed on down the line verbally. Thank you in advance. [email protected]
Hello to List Subscribers, Does anyone have information on Samuel Harvey, b. 1767 (place unknown to me) and died 1821 in Pittsylvania Co., VA? He married Alice Burnett in 1793. They had 14 children. I am descended from their son John and Henrietta Booker. If Samuel lived on same acerage as my grandmother, then it was near Danville, VA.
I am looking for more information on the Harvey Family of Blount County, Tennessee and Johnson County, Arkansas. Michael Harvey born 1810, is in the 1860 Census of Blount Count Tennessee with his wife Sarah Harvey and a son Clark Harvey 22, and a daughter Sarah 17, I am looking for more information on the Family of Michael Harvey, and on Clark Harvey. He left his wife, and went to another state, and then died, and no one know where. Thanks for all the help Matt

Dear List: I wanted to share a recent quirky experience that only goes to show how serendipity often plays a large role in Genealogy: Last week I was driving along a rural road here in Minnesota and noted a garage sale sign in front of an apple orchard barn. Being a thrifty sort of person, I stopped at the sale. Upon entering the barn I was greeted by the Orchard's owner, and I was struck by the startling resemblence he bore to my father. I commented on this fact, and dug out a photo of Dad. The Orchard Owner asked my Dad's name, and I replied that, "Oh, you wouldn't know him; he is in Ohio - but his name is Ken Harvey." Well, this man about passed out, for, sure enough, his name was FRED HARVEY, and he was named after his uncle.....in Ohio. Needless to say, Mr. Harvey and I spent a long time there in that barn, and I left with some new Harvey information (and a few less dollars).
