I agree with Mike I am on this Harvey Line put I also use the Harvey Genelogist they complament each other very well. There is no reason I can see that both can not be used. Teresa Sterling CO
Terry, I checked my resources and couldn't find your Thomas Joseph Harvey. Have you tried the usual resourses, like the LDS records? I know that you have the vital records down. I'll keep my eyes open for him when and if we get more Illinois Harvey Data. And if you would like to contribute those Colorado Harvey Marriage Records to The Harvey Genealogist, I'm sure that they will be appreciated by other Researchers! Pat, You have Harveys down there in Mo that you are digging for? -- Ann Harvey Lahtinen, Steward <[email protected]> The Harvey Genealogist The Harvey Surname Association http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6575/
Holly, You might consider writing to Marsleen Kerr <[email protected]>, who I know was doing some work on African-American Harvey Lines. -- Ann Harvey Lahtinen, Steward <[email protected]> The Harvey Genealogist The Harvey Surname Association http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6575/
I own a copy of this book, and will be happy to check the index for anyone. -- Ann Harvey Lahtinen, Steward <[email protected]> The Harvey Genealogist The Harvey Surname Association http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6575/
Frankly, I don't see the conflict. This list is a great place to exchange information and ask questions. "The Harvey Genealogist" contains a lot of information (some of which I have contributed), but has a more enduring nature and special subject areas. Why would any of us who are researching the Harvey name want to do away with either resource? L.Hall, Thanks for pointing out Charles Harvey's page. He has also contributed to The Harvey Genealogist, and was, in fact, the "Harvey Hot Site" Award recipient for December. You might want to check out this month's recipient's site, or those from before December at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6575/hotsite.htm. Also, there are really quite a few Harvey sites on the Web. You can check them out from the Harvey's on the Web page, at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/6575/links.htm Thanks again!
