She was born 21 April 1805 in Gross Varchow, Parish of Gross Varchow,Mecklenburg. I obtained this information from LDS microfilms of the parish registers. I transcribed the surname as Hardwig, with the "d". Maria married Johann Dethloff Friedrich Christoph Köppen 23 October 1834 at Kleth, Parish of Mölln, Mechlenburg. He was born 10 September 1808 at Gevezin, Parish of Wulkenzin. Maria was the daughter of Johann Juergen Hardwig who was born 6 April 1770 in Lehsten, Parish of Gross Varchow. Maria's mother was Katharina Margaretha Noss. Any connection to your Hartwig's?
