Hi Peter The Silas Hart I am referring to, moved to Augusta County, VA. Silas was the High Sheriff of Augusta County, and owned a lot of land around 900 areas or more. He then became the Sheriff in Rockingham County, when it was formed. In his will he left most everything to his nephew John and his son William. Silias was born in 1718 in Pennsylvania.
