I am too researching a Hart Line from New York. Like many of you I too have a Hart that I sometimes believe must have worked as a secret agent. I am looking to see if any one knows of a connection to a DARWIN D HART. I have him being born in New York in Sept 1864 from the 1900 New York Census. He was living in Ontario County in the town of Phelps at the time. He had listed that his parents were both from New York and born in New York. He had a son Frederick Hart, born in April 1887 in Byron, New York in Genesee County. They moved to Michigan around 1905 to the Detroit area. I have all the information on generations from Frederick on, but Darwin and who may have been his parents before him is a mystery or a possible link to the next generation. How difficult this has been to find something on him....I spoke to his grandchild who at the time thought he died in Michigan around 1940. I did a death certificate seach in Michigan from 1936 - 1951 to come up with Nothing. I am looking for that missing link back to Darwin's parents if anyone can help. If anyone can help, I certainly appreciate it.
