Most of my NY searches center around lines other than Hart, which are typically found around the Finger Lakes region. And I have found that lineage back to its NJ (and earlier) origins. This might be helpful. Approximately 20 years ago, my sister was in contact with a man from New Jersey by the name of James Murray who was doing extensive research on the Hart family. As I recall he had a rather large chart of Harts extending across several states. I suspect that Mr. Murray has since passed on, as he wasn't a young man 20 years ago, but someone must have kept or have access to his research. ---- Bill [email protected]
