I'm looking for information on the family of Mary H. (Hart?) McCullough (1785-1851), wife of Ebenezer McCullough (1787-1828). They lived in Washington Co., Penn. from about 1812 on. According to the Commemorative Biographical Record of Washington Co., Pennsylvania, (Beers & Company, Chicago 1893), Mary Hart (dau. of Nathanial Hart, Jr. and Margaret Monteith) married a Smith McCullough at Pigeon Creek, Washington Co., Penn. My Mary H. McCullough and Ebenezer had a son named Smith and that name seems to appear in each generation. However, I need more proof to convince me that my Mary was a Hart by birth. Is anyone on this list working on this family? I have more information to share if so. Dawn Knauft
