Just started researching this particular line and I don't have an awful lot but here goes. I believe that my GGGrandfather ATW Hart of Tyler Co. Texas, was the son of Levi Hart born abt.1812 in Tennessee. Eli was in Louisianna in 1843 and married to Talitha ?. They eventually had at least 8 children the last one of which I know seems to be the only one born in Texas. Talitha and the rest of the children being born in La. I know that an Eli Hart patented land 3 different times in La.(1844-1858), but have not been able to check the proper census records to see if it is the one I seek.
