I am looking for any information that I can find on my grandfather. His name is Carl P. Hart 1909-1938. Father was John P Hart, mother Laura Wolter. They lived in Chicago. Supposedly Carl was not the biological child of John. Family lore has it that his biological father died when Carl was young, and that John adopted him. We are not sure if that was an official adoption, or if he just assumed his step-father's last name. I have no other information, and would appreciate any information. Anne Barnes
