I know that I have posted this before, but I need help. William Hart was born in Concordia Parish, LA (according to marriage license), on what I figure to be February 02, 1847. He was the son of John Hart and Mary (?). If I knew her last name I might have it made. Anyway, William Hart married Nancy Jane Fultz in Rockingham County, VA on 10 December 1868. They had one son James W.E. Hart who married Malinda Frances Winegard. I would love to know which John Hart, Williams father was and what Mary's last name was. Or was Mary a nickname for Martha, Margaret, Etc. (boy, this gets confusing). William and Nancy were divorced and Nancy remarried Archibald Sipe and moved to North Dakata and had about 7 children together. I don't know if William died, or remarried. I also don't know what happened to his son James and his Wife Malinda. I believe I am a decendent of Silas Hart. But have not been able to prove this. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
