Good Afternoon! I am interested in corresponding and sharing information with individuals who are related to the Harts of Wrightsborough Settlement, GA. Wrightsborough Settlement is an extinct Quaker settlement located in now Mc Duffie Co., GA. The Harts traveled from NC and settled with the Quakers in GA. There were three Harts who received land grants from Gov James Wright in 1770: James, Peter and Samuel. Esther Hart, wife of Samuel, requested in 1788 to "be joined in membership" with the Quakers. She later married in 1790 Amos Green, according to the Minutes of the Men's Monthly Meeting. D H Deci Researching: HART, MUNDY, KNOWLTON, MALLORY, DRANE, CARTER, ANSLEY, ANDREWS, BURSON in GA
