I am trying to resolve a small problem regarding John Hart (1682- ?). In one reference www.opcweb.com/hart/hfa07.htm) John Hart is referenced as the grandfather of General William Hart, a colonial major general. John is referred to as the first graduate of Yale university. In a second reference (http://members.tripod.com/Pollilop/hart.html), which discusses the Hart family of Guysborough, Nova Scotia, John is referred to as the second person to graduate from Yale.
