Looking for parents and siblings of Anna HART born 23 Jan 1809 in PA /per census, died 5 Nov 1872 in Jay Co.,IN or Mercer Co.,OH. Anna married to David TEETERS before 1828, first child born ca1828? in OH. I have no clues to who her family was, but David TEETERS was born 11 Jan 1800 in PA and died 19 Dec 1878 Mercer Co.,OH. The Teeters migrated to OH prob bet. 1810-1815. They may have stopped in Portage county, Ohio(oldest son John H. born there 11Dec1828), then they settled in Jay County, Indiana before 1840.(per Jay County IN, history book). One other HART family in the Jay County area was a John R. HART born 4 Dec 1833 in Highland Co.,OH, son of a James HART and Mary LEWIS who were both born in Delaware and were early settlers of Highland Co.,OH. This John R. Hart married to Aletha MENDENHALL who was born in Preble Co.,OH and was daughter of Marmaduke MENDENHALL. THIS is all I know about the Hart's in my tree. Does anyone recognize this Anna HART Teeter??
