Hopefully someone will recognize Adeline as a descendent of someone in your line. She married my ggggrandfather, Stephen Thames, in Stewart County, GA in 1838. According to census information she said her family was from NC. Stephen and Adeline moved to AL before the 1840 census in the portion of Dale County that later became Coffee County in southeast AL.
