Briefly: I believe that Martha's parents were Josias Furman/Firmin, Jr. and Sarah Strickland. He was born in 1652 at Long Island, NY and married in 1680. She was born 1644 at Fairfield, CT, died 11 Jan 1740/1 at Trenton, NJ. Josias Jr's father was Josias, born at Watertown, Mass, and his father was John , born in Suffolk, England.
