I would love to connect with any HART family - not just overseas, although eventually that would be my goal.....I can't even locate the family of the one HART that married into my family....that would be my ggggrandmother Adaline Hart who married Stephen Thames in January 1838 in Stewart County GA.....and moved to Dale County, AL. There was a Benjamin Hart next door in the 1840 census, but I can't make a connection. I know there were Harts in the area because two families were killed by Indians in 1836......If any of you have a Adaline, born in GA, SC or NC about 1810-1817. Maybe she was born in AL, but traveling across Indian land to GA to get married in 1838 doesn't seem likely. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Gypsy Thames McKim
