Hello Viettia: My ggrandmother, nee MARY ANN HART was born October 21, 1926. According to her death certificate signed by a spinster daughter, her birthplace was New Brunswick. The 1900 census, however, lists her birthplace as Nova Scotia. She married David Nicholson of New York and they are listed at Lakeport, Niagara County, NY, in the 1860 census. My only candidates for her parents comes from a book of New Brunswick Vital Statistics which states that 1 May 1823, married by Rev. R. Willis, James Hartt/Mary Ann d/o John Williams Architect all of this city. NBRG. City Gazette. I'm on the New Brunswick list, but have not seen any Hart/Hartt posts yet.
