I don't seem to be able to fin anything about my John HART (not the signer) who married Eleonor HILL. Their son John HART (2) was born 1838 in London and died 25 jan 1900 in Papeete Tahiti.This John HARET(2) exported cotton to the states during the Civil War and was written about by Robert Louis Stevenson among others. There are a lot of HART relatives now in Tahiti but we do not know where the John HART who married Eleonor HILL came from and are curious as towhy he emigrated first to the USA and then the Marquesas Islands. Any help
