Hi Folks, My GG/Grandfather was Gabriel Hart... I have found him in KY in 1829. Gabriel was b. abt 1795 in SC according to family record. He moved to KY and married a Mary "Poly" May on 30 Dec 1817, in Daviess Co. They had four sons, which are recorded as William Jones, b.1822 in KY; Samuel W., b. 1828 in KY; Marine Gabriel b. 1833 in KY: and John F., b. 1835 in KY. In 1839 Gabriel relocated his family to Spencer Co., IN 14 Jan 1850 William Jones (my G/Grandfather) married Mary Jane Hahn who was from Ohio, b 28 Jan 1833. The other three sons are listed as still living at home in the 1850 Census of Spencer Co., Grass TWP. Folks, I'm afraid it will take a good twenty mule team to pull me out of this bog... seems this ol' horse can't do it. Can anyone help me link Gabriel to his parents in SC?
