The 1816 Hunterdon County, New Jersey, guardianship records of the minor children of John STRIMPLE list William HART as a surety. My impression is that there were at least two Hart families in Hunterdon at the time. Does anyone on this list recognize this William Hart? Do you know of a family connection to the Strimple family? The one Strimple-Hart connection I know of is: Jonathan Stout b1660 Samuel Hart Samuel Stout b1709 James Hart b1717 Jonathan Stout Jane Hart b1765 married Samuel Opdycke Samuel Stout b1779 married Letitia Updyke b1789 Keziah Stout b1804 married Aaron Strimple b1803 I don't know whether William Hart is part of this family. This Aaron Strimple is one of the minor children of John Strimple. Jane Hart was born in Plumstead Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
