hi im resending this message as i have new info from a great aunt ive recently met im looking for my g grandparents who are SARAH MACDONALD of new haven guysburough co.(near canso) and DAVID HARTE?HART of balaine(main-a dieu) SARAH MACDONALD grew up in cape breton possible near glace bay or dominion she had a brother named DAVID MACDONALD and from what im told she was prviously married to a MCLEOD/MACLEOD and had the following children ALBERT,MARRION?,AND TERESA(GIRLS ARE TWINS)what happened to sarahs first husband was he killed in the war ?what happened to their children? then in abt.1919(no records yet)SARAH married? DAVID HARTE they had 6 known children MARCELLA HART b.aug.1920(this is my new found g aunt) WILLIAM RUSSELL HART b.june 1922,baptised at st.annes catholic church glace bayon 16,july,1922 god parents were THOMPSON MCNAMARA AND LUCY GARDNIER. MARY EVELYNN HART b.NOV.1925,baptised at st.annes on 10 jan.1926 godparents were PADDY BURDEN/BURTON and MRS.VINCENT JACKSON. LUCY ANN HARTb.DEC.1927,baptised at ST.ANTHONYS IN GLACE BAY,on march 18,1928,godparents were MICHEAL MACPHEE/MCPHEE AND LUCY GARDINER. WILLIAM JAMES HART B.1925-1929(no records) WILLIAM VINCENT HART b>april 1929,baptised 12 MAY 1929,godparents were WALTER LAWRENCE and HILDA MOMBERQUETTE(in a note on the side it states SARAH as not catholic) are these godparents related somehow ? also i now know that both the HART and MACDONALD grandmothers lived across the road they lived on the front road of the mine,and from what my aunt has told me they had no indoor plumbing of any kind ,and now a revision on what happened sometime between 3 weeks after vincent s birth and x mass of that year Sarah passed him to my AUnt the oldest and went to the out house that was the last they saw here the children were alone for 3 days and then welfare came and took them and put the children into orfanages some in glace bay ,others went to sydney,brasdor,im looking for any info on this family ,willing to share would also like to know about sarahs fist marriage and children as i guess they would be my g aunts and uncle tks very much andrea _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8.
