Hi, I am looking for info on my 2nd great-grandfather, William O Hart, b: June 7, 1844 NY, d: Aug. 19, 1882 NY. I am looking for his William's parents, and possibly a brother, John W Hart. William was adopted in 1854, which I conclude his parents died before that. William and John both were in the 14th Regt. NYS Vol--Heavy Arty. He may have roots in Albany, NY or in Virginia.
