Hello all! I am new to the HART list but not new to genealogy. I've been doing research through direct lines by area but I thought I'd throw out my names to see if anyone else is working on the same family. My g-grandfather was William Patrick HART born March 17, 1856 in Ingleby-Greenhow, Yorkshire, England. His father was John Benedict HART born Oak House, Bilsdale, Yorkshire, England. They both immigrated to Hawaii around 1871 and taught at a Catholic Mission/School - both died and are buried in Hawaii. William had 10 children including my grandmother, Mary Margaret HART, many of whom came to the mainland. There are many HART's in Yorkshire and I have info back to mid-1700's. If anyone thinks they have a connection I would love to hear from you. I just returned from a trip to Hawaii doing some research but unfortunately found no living relatives.
