James Hart, my gggrantfather, was born in NC ca 1796. He married Susan Johnson (Johnston?) b VA ica 1820--Where? They were living in Henderson Co., TN before 1830. Their children were: Alexander T. (DR.), James P., Joseph Henly, Marcus Dudley Littleton, William Henry Harrison (my ggrandfather) and Henry Clay Hart. They children were all born in Tennessee. I have some information on all the children, but have been able to find nothing regarding James and Susan. My grandfather was William Henry Harrison Hart. Alexander m Louisa ?, then Mrs M. E. Rush James P. m Ursula Howard Joseph Henly m Maratha Penelope Pearson Marcus m Kittie Ann Mann, then Harriett E. ? William H. H. m Emily Lane Miller. (He brought his wife and daughter, Eula Elaine, to Texas, settling in Cooke Co., TX.. They had lost two other daughters.
