    3. hi i am in the process of trying to locate my grandfathers(b.1922) tree his parents died in glace bay cape Breton ,Nova Scotia .' His Father was David (may have been a middle name) Hart born in Balaine(main-a-deiu) i have not been able to trace any info on David or his wife Sara Mcdonald from Guys co. ,other than 5 of the 6 baptism records of their children (1920-1929)they seem not to exist,i even went as far as to create my own list Hart nova scotia ,and to call Hart listed in the phone book,David and Sarah are beleived to have died (my grandfather and siblings were told this) in 1929. In doing my research ive noticed that 90% of the Harts from Main-a-deiu came from Guysburough county and sre of Stephans line if anyone in this line might have info on David i d be greatfull also willing to share info on his children and grandchildren ect. i myself would be willing to do the dna test or one of my children .and my grandfather and father as well . thank you Andrea Hart - Jenkins ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Ed Whitson" <ewhitson@otnusa.com> Reply-To: "Ed Whitson" <ewhitson@otnusa.com> To: HART-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [HART-L] HART DNA Surname Project Date: Fri, 20 Aug 2004 09:07:21 -0700 MIME-Version: 1.0 Received: from mc3-f10.hotmail.com ([64.4.50.146]) by mc3-s19.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6824); Fri, 20 Aug 2004 09:07:43 -0700 Received: from lists5.rootsweb.com ([66.43.18.41]) by mc3-f10.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6824); Fri, 20 Aug 2004 09:05:43 -0700 Received: (from slist@localhost)by lists5.rootsweb.com (8.12.8/8.12.8) id i7KG0KCR032031;Fri, 20 Aug 2004 10:00:21 -0600 X-Message-Info: 0jbW5ANosZJzX8/b95Jd0kyltUw8wda7 Resent-Date: Fri, 20 Aug 2004 10:00:21 -0600 X-Original-Sender: ewhitson@otnusa.com Fri Aug 20 10:00:20 2004 Message-ID: <00ea01c486cf$d272aee0$5593f204@s0o8o9> Old-To: <louhart@comcast.com>, <HART-L@rootsweb.com> X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2600.0000 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2600.0000 X-Scanned-By: MIMEDefang 2.38 Resent-Message-ID: <SU9DCB.A.L0H.UAiJBB@lists5.rootsweb.com> Resent-From: HART-L@rootsweb.com X-Mailing-List: <HART-L@rootsweb.com> archive/latest/2415 X-Loop: HART-L@rootsweb.com Precedence: list Resent-Sender: HART-L-request@rootsweb.com Return-Path: HART-L-request@rootsweb.com X-OriginalArrivalTime: 20 Aug 2004 16:05:45.0288 (UTC) FILETIME=[8CDD4480:01C486CF] .......since your email address bounced on me. ...my reply..... Christopher b. about 1543 d. November 19,1581 w. Elizabeth Lee May > Hi fellow HART researchers. I have recently started a HART DNA Surname Project. I believe the DNA project will allow me to connect with other HART surname groups. I chose Family Tree DNA as the testing company because of the great job that they do. Rates are lower for group members than non-group members. My primary objective is to locate HART groups that have documented their ancestry back to Deacon Stephen Hart of Essex, England. I will pay for the test for the first five participants(male) who have documentated their ancestry to Deacon Stephen Hart. I will only pay for one male HART participant from each HART group. The purpose of this is to build a modal DNA haplotype of Deacon Stephen Hart. With this modal haplotype we can identify others who are descendants of Deacon Stephen Hart and make it easier to connect various groups who are related. All HART research groups are welcome to join my project. You may obtain information on DNA at the Family Tree DNA website http://w! > ww.familytreedna.com .This type of DNA testing has nothing to do with forensic testing or medical information testing. When you get to the Family Tree DNA site click on privacy at the top of the page. That will take you to legal issues, privacy and confidentiality statement. Enter HART in the surname search and it will take you to a results page. Click on HART and you will go to Join the Hart Surname Project. If you have documented ancestry to Deacon Stephen Hart contact me and I will order the test for you and pay for it. My web site is at: http://www.worldfamilies.net . Type in HART and on the following page scroll down to HART DNA Project Websites. If you have any questions contact me at: louhart@comcast.com.
