Hello Lorraine, I looked in the 1850 census at all the Hart families in Accomack County, VA, and found only one Selby. This is what I found: In Accomack Parish page 60/119. House visited on 2 Oct 1850. Elisabeth Hart age 27 born VA William Hart age 5 born VA Selby P. Hart age 6/12 born VA There were four other Hart households in Accomack County, but no other Selbys.
