Hi, I am looking for info on William Hart, b: June 7, 1844 in NY. I am trying to locate his parents and if he had any siblings. He married and had two sons: Albert born in Maryland and George born in Albany, NY. In 1880 he lived in Fairfield, Henrico, VA, possibly near family. Can anyone help me with this info? Anyone have any info on the Harts in Warren County OH...there appears to be a Robert Hart with land there, but not sure he was ever in the county...also a James Hart that left a will there early on... Or the Harts in IN.... I have a major brick wall, a Francis A. Hart bc 1818 in KY by 1843 he was in Fayette County KY married to Elizabeth Parker...some research shows his father was John Hart and Mary Cowin...anyone have any info on these folks... My great grandfather Shadrack Reynolds was married to a West woman and she was the mother to 1/2 his children, the family has called her Anna West. Anna died, he remarried. My cousin's wife is descended from Michael Henry (Morris) HART who was born in Georgetown, South Carolina in 1796 and was brought to Portsmouth, UK in 1798. His parents were Nathan and Jenny; they appear to have stayed in the USA. It is likely that this is the same Nathan HART who appears in Georgetown, SC on the 1790 census; who is listed as an indigo dealer in the Georgetown records; and who had a daughter Maria who died on 13 August 1793 aged 8 months and is buried in Georgetown's Jewish cemetery. Apparently he claimed Sephardi descent from Jews who left Spain for North America in 1492. Michael Henry HART married Esther, daughter of David DAVIS. He was a merchant and a tailor, and died in Portsmouth in 1858. Does anyone know anything about the ancestry of Nathan HART of Georgetown, SC; especially, anything that can trace the trail back, perhaps through early Marrano colonists of the region, to Spain? Hello List, I finally found who my Charles Hart's father was. Thanks to Marilyn Dilts who found him in a book, The Hart Family of Warminster, PA. Charles was b. 1863 in Bucks Co. d. 1893, son of Harrison Hart (1840-1889) and Clementina K. Yates (1844-1913), both born in Bucks Co. PA. I was told by my family that Clementina's first family died. Well, they didn't, they were divorced, and I guess they would have been shunned since they were both Quakers. Both married a second time. Harrison married Irene Balderston, and Clementina married Edward S. Pullen. Edward S. raised Charles as his own son. I would love to find out who Charles married and who his children were. I know he had a daughter Bertha (1990-1997) as she is buried next to him in the Riverview cemetery in Trenton, NJ. I also have an autograph from an Isaac Hart which reads: "To Aunt Bessie from, Your nephew Isaac Hart, it is dated 1923. Aunt Bessie was a child by Clementina's 2nd marriage to Edward S. Pullen. I also think Charles had a son named Charles, as I remember my mother talking about a cousin Charles and it would have to be Charles' (1863-1893) son as my mother wasn't born until after Charles Sr. died.
