I am researching my ggrandmother's HART family with little success. She was Paralee Arabel (Belle) HART and married William A. BURNS in Hopkins County, TX in 1878. I do not know the names of her parents. Accordingto my elderly aunt, she had three brothers, Frank, who I think m. Susie (last name unknown, William m Parathenia Burns (sister of William) and Cisco or Cisero and a sister Narcissa. Reportedly, Belle Hart was part Cherokee. She died about 1898. Belle Hart BURNS was living in Hopkins County in 1880, when my grandmother, Eddie Esley Burns, was born in Weaver. I suspaect that Esley is the surname of Belle's mother...but only a speculation. My grandmother named her oldest son Esley Lee Reed. I have a letter written to my grandmother from Susie Hart. Any connection? Phylis Wilson Carpenter

My great-grandfather is Frederick Charles Hardt who was born in Germany (Barmen, I believe) in 1867 and later (~1885) immigrated to America and settled in Chicago. His father was Karl Frederick Hardt, born Nov 19, 1934 in Lennep, Germany. Other children of Karl Hardt are: Karl F. Hardt (known in America as Charles F. Hardt) b. 1865 in Barmen, Germany, immigrated to the US in 1881. Rudolph Hardt - born in Germany, came to Chicago, moved to California Alexander Hardt - lived in Hagen-Haspe, Germany Albert Hardt - b. 1873, remained in Germany Johanna Hardt - b. 1879 Ludwig Hardt - b. 1881 I have more details on each of their children. If it looks like there's a link between us, I'd love to share our information. Carla Raabe Tibbitts

HI sorry for bothering yall again. I know many of you have seen my page, I keep making new changes, and additions. This time I have added a report page for each surname I am actively working on at any given time. There is a great deal of work still to do on these pages. As all of this is very time consuming. The data is only a guide as to who where when or what I have in my tree as most of it is from the wft cd's. However most of the recent information I do have my documentation for. Anything that appeals to you or you are interested in or can add to it please email me back. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience. Aloha: Born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England in 1871/72, Hart emigrated to North America. He settled in Seattle, Washington and was known to be living in that city in 1909 with his wife Kathleen. I think there were no children. And something out of my childhood memory(30s and 40s) suggests that they met their deaths together in an auto accident. Looking for a gravesite. Have looked at the Washington rootsweb project and they are not there - so far- Alfred was my grandfather's brother. G'pop was settled in Ontario, Canada. Appreciate any suggestions. Hi, Claude, I was wondering if you had ever done any research on Warren Hart who was in Conecuh County in 1830 census. He had, males: 2, 5-10; 1, 10-15; 1, 30-40, and females: 1, 20-30; and 1, 15-20. I have found Warren Harts in Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and in Alabama as well. I have tried to tie him into our line, but have not had much luck. One Warren Hart, in Jones Co., Ga. married Glorivinia Shaw, 9Jan. 1843; and another Warren in Laurens Co., Ga., and married Olive Barlow. If you've heard of this Warren Hart, please let me know. Also, please send me your line so that I can add it to the genealogy program that I'm using now. Do you have info on Jordan and Carr Hart ( Henry Hart's two brothers)? I've been corresponding with a direct descendent of Carr's. She didn't even know there was a Jordan Hart. I have to tell you-I was so glad to hear from her, and I sent her John Maxey's estate papers where he names Henry, Jordan, and Carr. Hope you are well, and that I'll hear from you soon. There is a set of books in the Pender county library written on the Harts family of NC written by Stanley Harts. It is in Burgaw,NC. They also include the Bordeaux and some other names. Don't know if Pyland is listed, but there are Pylands here in the Burgaw area. Carrie Rowe
David, I am grasping at straws here, but would like you to post this to all the Reuben Hart group for me, and I am posting it on the Hart list at rootsweb as well. Does anyone know if the Sarah Leggett born 1810 GA., who married on Feb. 8, 1835 in Early Co., GA. to Henry Cravey b.1790 Edgecombe Co., N.C., had the maiden name of HART? On 1850 census (TX.), she had two children by her privious marriage to a Legget in the household with her & Henry. VIS: Reuben Leggett born 1829 GA. (was 21 in 1850) Jane Leggett born 1831 GA. (Jane married Louis B. Bissonnett on 12 Mar 1867 in Liberty Co., TX. The Cravey family & Hart families all came to TX. about the same time and lived near to each other. Since the names Reuben & Jane were popular names in Hart family, I am just wondering if Sarah may have been a Hart prior to her marriage to Leggett. Dianne
