    3. Job HARTT, sometime spelled HART (born in US abt 1791 )lived in Caradoc township, Ontario in 1850's. His wife, Sarah Wessells, was born in the US or Canada His children, Rebecca b.1819(m. Nagle), Anna b.1820 (m.Slee then Neeves) b.1822, Jonathon, Nicholas b.1824 (m. London), Allen b.1826, John b.1828, Elizabeth b.1830(m. Martin), Harriet b.1832(m.Graves), Sarah b.1834 (m. Hetley), Isaac b.1836, Enoch b.1838(m.Jeffrey), William b.1840, Edward J. b.1840(m. Jeffery). Several of Job's descendants married people with the Legg surname. Some of Job's children settled in Tuscola County, Mi after the Civil War, then spread to other places in Michigan. They are also found in Lapeer and Sanilac. Some, especially descendants of Enoch, moved to Florida in the early years of this century. There is a possible (but no proof of a) connection between this family and the family of Samuel Hartt who married Eliza J. Gilcrest in 1854, and who lived in Newago and Mountcalm Co, Mich. Samuel's children were Cicero W., Ella Jane, Sylvia and Charley. Two descendants of Enoch Hartt and one of Nicholas Hartt have found each other via the internet. We want to find other relatives. Job's origin, parents and siblings are unknown and we are seeking that information. If you want to share information, please let us know Susan Hartt San Jose, Ca San Jose, Ca

    2. There is also a good discussion on Nathaniel and Thomas Hart in a book called "Kentucky, Land of Contrast" by Thomas Clark. Nathaniel and Thomas were part of the Transylvania Land Company and participated in the Watauga treaty with the Cherokee Indians to surrender their claim to the southern half of Kentucky. The book also mentions a David Hart in connection with the rescue of Jemima Boone and her neighbors at Boonesboro. Jan Wilson Mason, Ohio

    3. I have information to share on James Hart md Henrietta Louisa Kennard in the Kent county Maryland area in 1808. There is a first marriage I think in 1789 which produced a child Rachel, whom I know about zip. I come down through their son Daniel Kennard Hart. I am searching for some of the children of James and Henrietta-(Henaritta in the Bible) and especially where the father is buried in 1848, likely in the Franklin county Indiana area where his wife died in 1846. I am trying to determine if my gg-grandfather James Hart was the son of Ann - and James Hart with two siblings Robert and Jennet, births registered in St Mary Anne's Parish in Cecil county Maryland in the 1760's.
