    1. [HART-L] Levi Hart
    2. Always looking for any one that has information on a Levi Hart that may have lived in NYC in the 1840's. I have a Sarah Ann Hart that married John P. Chamberlin in NYC in 1847. I beleive that Sarah was born in Hackettstown, Warren County, NJ in 1819. On the marriage record Sarah's father is listed as Levi Hart (it is possible that it may be Lewis but I don't think so). Will be glad to share my Chamberlin information with any one interested. Lynn [email protected]

I am stuck on William, thought he was born in Rockingham County, VA - but his marriage certificate says Concordia Parish, LA. LA did not start keeping birth records until 1916, William was born in 1846. Any and all help appreciated, we just might be related. Thanks.

    3. Well, tradition has been on mailing lists that discussion about lines other than the one the list is designated for should be done in personal E-mail. That could be the reason you are seeing things addressed to individuals. This is the HART (and other spellings of same) List. Most of us know nothing about your London's. I am not trying to be rude, Just explaining how "Surname" lists are traditionally operated. Good luck, Lynn On Sat, 14 Nov 1998 22:16:45 -0800, you wrote: >Hello all, > >Here's a basic question. 1. [HART-L] George HART/Maude WITSITT, 1882, Indiana
    2. Tim Hart
    3. My great-grandfather, George HART, married Maude WITSITT. I don't know where they were married, but according to an IL census entry for my grandfather, they were both born in Indiana, as was my grandfather, Fred L Hart, in 1882. Does anyone have a George and Maude Hart in Indiana about 1882? I am just starting to do some research in Indiana. I guess I'm just spoiled after dealing with Illinois for the past 6 months, but Indiana sure doesn't seem to have the fantastic indexes that I'm familiar with in IL :( Thanks, Tim

    3. Hello all, Here's a basic question. If I send an e-mail to the listbot, do all of you receive it? You seem to be addressing each other individually. Sorry for the basic question. Today, I went to the LDS family history center and filled in the paperwork for the rest of the Jeremaih London Source I mentioned. It is called "Building our Pedigree," not "Buiding our Degree," as I told you earlier. I've looked in the archives. Obviously, every message isn't stored there. Can someone sum up for me the basis for the idea that the Ont. Londons and the NB Londons are related. And here's a puzzler. I'm delighted to be amoung you but I'm not sure I understand the relationship between the first Jeremiah London and John London of New Jersey. The data is probably in the messages that aren't in the archive. One of you asked for my line (first) Jeremiah London- Margaret Pral Richard London- Maria (third) Jeremiah London-Phoebe Cutler Mary Mariah London-Nicholas Hartt Edward N. Hartt-Harriett Legg George Basil Hartt-Florence Ann Amelia McDonald Harold Hartt Helen Louis Collins Susan Hartt Scott Ewbank Someone asked about a Bartholomew London. "Building our Degree" says that a Bartholomew London was one of the first Jeremiah's sons and a brother of the Richard above. There is a separate chapter for him in the part of the book that I've sent for. Best to all Susan Hartt

    1. [HART-L] Council Hart Who Lived in Arkansas
    2. Hope C. Pees
    3. Dear Hart Researchers, Our home in Seguin, Texas was flooded October 17th. We lost virtually everything. However, things are just things -- some we can do without and some we can replace. Naturally, can't replace so many personal items -- the genealogy research among them. I'm attempting to reconstruct my family files (and don't want it to take another nineteen years!). If I've perhaps sent information to anyone on this list regarding my Caldwell-Hart research, would appreciate so much if you could re-send it back to me. Sorry I don't recall any dates or places. One Council Hart married a Caldwell (daughter of Joshua Caldwell and Sarah Alexander). This family lived in Henderson County, Arkansas, I believe -- this would have been in the late 1800s. Hope that someone is researching this particular family. Thank you. Hope Seguin, Texas [email protected]

    2. Tim Hart
    3. Does anyone have the genealogy of the 1930's era musician named Lorenz Hart. He went by the name of Larry, I think. His father Max was from Germany. He also had a brother named Teddy. I am especially interested in the names of Max's brothers, of which the music book I looked at said he had several. They lived in New York. Thanks for any info. My grandfather, FRED HART, born in Indiana, was also a musician during this period. So I'm just curious... Tim
