I am trying to find birth details etc for a John Harrower born in Edinburgh. I have his marriage certificate to Frances Thornton on the 24th March 1844 in Durham. It gives both their ages as being 'full'. His father's name is given as Andrew Harrower a Mason. I have found John and Frances on the 1851 England Census and it gives his age as 33 years and shows him being born in Edinburgh. I have looked on the Scotlands people website but am unable to find any details of his birth or any trace of him on the 1841 Scotland census. I have found marriage details for a Andrew Harrower to a Jane or Jean Paxton on the 10.7.1812 in Leith South, Edinburgh and also details of their chilrens birth's but their no trace of a John.
