Delaware County NY records say that David Sr died shortly after the War of 1812-14 but not when. Or where. Many burials were lost in that county when Pepacton Dam was created. The biog states he was buried on the farm. Premise - Benjamin b 1791 isn't enumerated anywhere I've found for 1820 or 1830. Suppose that the 1820 & 1830 censuses were Ben b 1791 with his father or fatherinlaw born 1760s in the home. It should not be David Sr. Perhaps there is a burial among those with that Ben of a man born close to 1763 who may have been Ben's fatherinlaw. Lucy Crandall could be a widowed sisterinlaw - Benjamin's wife's sister. Another note - to search census for 1790 what will become Delaware Co, see Middletown at Ulster Co NY. I didn't however find the Harrowers there but did find a 1790 record at the dcnyhistory site.
